A compact and characterful antique safe by Milners, one of the most respected English safe makers of the late 19th and early 20th century. Known for their fire-resisting construction, these safes were built to protect documents and valuables long before modern security systems.
This example retains its original painted exterior with gilt detailing and the Milners brass plaque to the door. The interior is finished in its original yellow paint, complete with internal compartment and shelving. The safe opens smoothly and comes with its full set of keys, all in working order.
The wear throughout is consistent with age and use, giving it a strong industrial presence without compromising function. A great piece for practical storage, or equally effective repurposed as a drinks cabinet or side piece.
Condition: Original condition with visible wear to the exterior and interior surfaces. Fully functional with working lock and complete keys.
