An Italian Murano glass pendant light attributed to Zero Quattro, dating to the 1970s.
The spherical shade is constructed from shaped blue Murano glass panels mounted within a chrome-plated framework. Decorative chrome studs and textured glass edges create a striking geometric pattern, while the soft blue glass gives the light a distinctive presence both illuminated and unlit.
A well-executed example of Italian lighting design from the period, combining sculptural form with quality glasswork.
